Two-step cluster

Is anyone familiar with the two step cluster analysis?
I have a survey on coping styles which has two subscales: avoidance and active coping.
so each participant has one score for avoidance coping, and one for active coping.
I want to see what category the participants fall under... some of them have a very small diff between the two scores...
Can I use two step cluster analysis to decide on the group membership for the participants??
