You have a 50 one-acre patches of infected trees area. You then randomly select 50 other one-acre patches from an area with non infected trees. For each plot you get average values for variables such as elevation, soil moisture, and minimum temperature. Can logistic regression be used to estimate the probability of a patch becoming infected based on values of their measured variables?If yes, how so?if not, how so?
