Hello,
Am new into data analysis so, yeah...I'm in need of some help. Am currently getting few results from a database which was exported to SPSS V19. I can create different charts and graphs, but I've just seen this graph and I want to achieve similar results (Please, have a look at the attachment or do click on the next link to refer to the graph I'm aiming to get (http://www.ssb.no/utlstat_en/. Inside the site there's a graph that looks like a pyramid...the title of the chart is Population, after age, sex and marital status. 1 January 2011)
I got all of the variables in my database (BTW am using SPSS v19):
Gender (String variable)
Age group (String variable)
Marital status (String variable)
I've already tried few of this steps but none worked for me:
tool bar: Graph-Chart builder-in the gallery: tab-histograms and chose the population pyramid...(It doesn't let me put gender and age group at the same time)...How can I achieve this?
I would be so please if anyone could help me get this graph right.
Thanks loads!
